My first post is a (dumb) question

I got an MPC-4000, and now I wonder if any fellow 4K'er has the time to explain how I can tilt the screen?

Pull it forward from the top edge with reasonable force. The mechanism which allows you to adjust the angle of the MPC4000 screen is extremely stiff, unlike the buttery smooth adjustability on other MPC screens.

Don't know the reason why you're asking such a easy to answer question, unless you're working with a just purchased 2nd hand 4k that was abused and someone obviously fukked up the tilt mechanism or something.

I can almost see the sh!t happening 'cause I had this brain dead hyper active mufucca and his crew over one time and the sh!thead grabbed & tilted my display as if tilting it in increments took too long or something.

After that one time, I told him I wasn't feeling the way he was navigating. I also told him "I got it from here".

So if you don't feel the display moving in increments, (rather it's not staying up at all now) , then obviously it's the tilt mechanism that's bad/damaged.

Many thanks - You're both right! I just bought it second hand and it's very stiff.

It' s so stiff that I thought I better ask here if there's a button somewhere before I use force.

But thanks to you I tried to use reasonble force, and now I can tilt it in three different angles

By the way, I've never touched an MPC before as I just switched over from a Roland MV-8000. So I'm now learning everything from scratch and I may ask more noob questions down the road
