Akai MPC 1000 Big Black Record / Gain Volume Knob Set

Anyone get a set of these eh? how are they eh?

they're overpriced... just get the same ones from radio shack for cheaper. those knobs are very common & easy to find in stores or online... those knobs also need to be adjusted a bit in order to properly fit on the mpc1000... poundaproblem has given out all the needed info about these in the past... maybe do a quick search or something...

again, keep in mind that they need to be modified a bit to fit properly.

yea because the pic with the delta is my mine and i got them from radio shack..

Just a tip:

to get the red line for the record knob all you need is a tooth pick and red nail polish or modeling paint. Dip the tooth pick in the paint just enough to get a drop on it. Then carefully place the drop in the groove of the knob. The paint will flow down on its own.

I wonder if they fit MPC1000... They should cause there is a set screw, but if there is enough room for them.
I ordered some in dark chrome ....

i got mine form maplins - which is the uk equivalent of radioshack.

After looking at so many pics, I really like the look of these knobs. I think it will complement the wood sides nicely on my 1k. So I'm gonna take the ones I bought from Radio shack for a guitar pedal and put them on my 1k. It should complement the vintage look of the wood sides extremely well.
