keep digging peeps!

ps - grey album was horrible

First of all that ain't true... A lot of producer's who you probably respect would tell you quite different..

Besides the fact that Exactly what Beatles sample was wack off the Grey Album....

Beatles = Wack.... :shock:

You must be joking...

That's ok. Originality, and new sounds take a while for people to get...and will still never be unappreciated by some.

It also just boils down to taste. One man's garbage is another man's banger.

It takes different strokes to move the world, yes it does, it takes different strokes to move the world. :lol:

She's a huge Beatles fan and would never be caught dead listenin to Jay-Z... But that album got through to her...

I mean that's tight... I know a lot of people that didn't appreciate hip-hop until they heard that album...

I guess they saw how you can flip samples in a different way and use it in a new way as self-expression... It just didn't get through till that album...

And while you might say well that's cause they were closed-minded or whatever... In my eyes it's straight cause it just expands peoples acceptance of the culture...

thats just hype though. its like 50 bein shot 9 times. just a gimmick for publictiy. Whether or not dangermouse was lookin for it that was his 9 bullets. But now my grandma knows in the club

Sell your turntables and all your vinyl, by a MP3 CD Player, rent(free) some CD's from the library, copy them to your computer, save as 320 KBPS VBR MP3s, burn all the MP3's to a CD.You can fit seven album on a Cd-R.Then the orther thing u must get is a 1/8 to 1/4 or 1/8 to RCA dpepdning what ur sampling with.This saves me ALOT of money, I only spent 65$ on the MP3 CD player, and 50$ for 100 CD-R Discs(about 700-800 albums fit on it).And to rip the CD download the trial of cool edit, and to encode MP3's use WinLame.Also 10$ for the cables.Only spent 125$ on all this.Plus CD Quality is far better than vinyl :wink:

I have a more than a crate of nothing but rock breaks. Don't judge a record by its cover. At the very least, I bet you could find a bunch of open single drum hits to sample. Dig into that stuff.
