Hey guys....my new mpc4000 just came in today. I noticed as soon as I turned the machine on, when I would adjust the screen, it would flicker. Well, it still worked so I was annoyed but did not think too much of it. I finally read a little bit of the manual, and starting making a beat. All of the sudden, every 2 seconds, my screen just starts flickering on and off. I decided to disassemble it as I assumed it had to be a loose wire, so I un-did the ribbon cable and put it back in, checked the other connections....ok, everythings good. Turn it on and same thing. Any suggestions? Could it still be the ribbon cable? Actual screen? I'm not going to pay get it fixed, the seller should(ebay)....I just need to know what I should get. Thanks for any help!

Just noticed that the socket on the PCB LCD Assembly board( http://www.mpcstuff.com/1al4016a504c.html )has a brownish burnt color to where the pins are. Uh-oh. This would make sense as it flickers and gets connection partially. Both end of the ribbon cable are seated, so it has to be something after the ribbon. I will order one after Thanksgiving unless someone else can chime in.
