Funnily enough i was wondering this myself a few nights ago, was bugging the hell out of me. Thought i'd missed something real simple, as over the years I'd always used AKSYS but couldn't be arsed to switch my PC on. The RAM load is the only way to do it, but then again I've never had aksys crash on me, not once, and my PC is a crapped out Dinosaur of a machine running XP.
Personally i like Aksys, if you play around with it you can pretty much control most features in each section ie.. Program, Mixer, Multis etc... It's old school, but that's the way i like it
