i have on my mpc 2000xl the 8out .separated outs works but on my sample screen i only have analog but not digital choice of source!!PLEASE SOS §§§THANKZ A LOT!!!

i tink it came standard, but you should have the digital ( rca coaxial ) inputs on your machine. L / R , om the 2000 it's right above the stereo outs / headphone.With the mpc, if the part is not installed , the window won't open.......ie the eb16 fx card or flash rom. If the card is not installed, the window or option will not appear.

On the MPC2000 this is a bit of a bug-ridden feature!
Whenever you open the SAMPLE window the ANALOG input will be highlighted.
Move your scroll wheel 1 click clockwise & that should switch to DIGITAL.
If you don't have a digital signal connected it should give you a warning message: "No digital signal carrier"........However a bug in the 2000 means it sometimes just freezes when you do this & you have to switch off & re-boot.
Sometimes you will switch to digital, get that message so go back to analog, but if you accidently switch to digital again you get a freeze...... like the MPC is saying "I told you that won't work, why are you trying again?"
Also, if you have a digital cable connected to the MPC but the equipment on the other end is not switched on this can again cause the MPC to freeze.
If you are going to sample from a digital source you need to make sure you are properly connected & the source machine is on before you start sampling.

thankz a lot dudes!! but i have find the problem!!! i opened the mpc(2000xl) and interchanged the 2simms memory and it works!!cool,it was a bad contact with memory option!!thanks again::
