Does Mpc editor work well with valixi and vice versa?

Thinking of getting a 3k and I have Mpc editor and was wondering if I can still use it to transfer and backup Mpc. 3k files

I run Vailixi and RS-16X. I've not used MPC editor.

Vailixi supports all the Akai MPC 3000 file formats. .SND, .PGM, .PAR, .APS - Am I leaving anything out?

Format the disk using Vailixi's Hybrid Partition Function.

Use a separate disk for file transfer to and from your MPC3000.

Stick to 8.3 character naming rules.

Works fine.

Vailixi has the function to back up a whole disk sector by sector.
