Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

My mpc will boot as normal, then i touch ANY button once and this pops up and freezes the machine.

I´ve taken out all my extra RAM.

HELP.

i found heat and working too fast to be the cause when this happened to me.
something also about working in a certain mode then punching into another certain mode really quickly.. i would do it then before the error cam up i would be like daaaamn -this is gonna freeze, and it did most the time..

search on here for something like '2000xl + freeze' etc
should bring up some more info.

it does suck balls when it happens though! i feel your pain

How do I reset the RAM or revert to earlier OS when any push of a button crashes the MP?

I think there might be something wrong with the motherboard. (??)

he said "reseat" all ram.

If you open up the MPC, find the RAM chips mounted on the motherboard, remove them from their sockets and reinsert. Contact corrosion, oxidation or the unit having been jarred or dropped can cause connectivity faults.

steady tho eddy... discharge static and careful of the gold contacts etc.
