Question, what are you doing on this side of the forum? You seem like you cant afford a 5000 (is that why you hate?) but your here talking about it like you own one.

what business is it of yours what I can afford or can not?
You are the one who tosses insults if somebody has problems with their mpc... and it has already a known fact that there are some defective units out there.....
I can talk about MPCs all day whether I own one, owned one, am about to own one, or never will own one.... do you have a problem with that? Do I need to scan receipts of all the music gear I own and send them to you so you can decide what section of the forum I should be posting in?

Ive explanied that i posted similar responses regarding the problems as i presumed these forums to be inactive to a large extent with the machine being a couple of years old now. Ok, i was wrong and there's a few responses; well, thats good isnt it, im glad ive read a few things about other issues and features etc, so i can pick things up and learn myself.
If you dont like to see my posts then whats the deal in just not reading them or doing anything about it. For god sake, why so defensive and why are you so bothered about the issues being highlighted. If there is only a few complaining then whats the problem? Its good that the seemingly few issues there are are known.
With regards to not knowing what im doing, dont make me laugh, ive well thumbed the manual, and have a damn good idea on what you can and can't do with these types of equipment- hence, i wouldn't over load the input, plug the wrong wires into it etc etc. Im very careful actually as i respect the things i buy and obviously want them to last for as long as possible so i can use them for the reason i bought them for. Why am i having to spell this out to you? The first problem was a hardware issue that occured when simply following the manual to mix the track down as i wanted to see the whole process through, get the finished file on the PC and then practice just that. The sound simply went, Akai aknowledged it was a hardware problem so there you go. There's nothing that i did to cause that.
The second problem on a replaced machine happened when tweaking the effects settings, which again is nothing that should cause the unit to break. Obviously it did. Now, you can look for reason to blame me all you want but i assure you i have plenty of other music gear so have a fair idea on how these things work and i treat those with the best care everytime i use them and know the do's and dont's of how to keep them in working order.
I've responded to people discussing comparisons between the 5000 and other mpcs and it just seems to me like it has its share of problems. I have to wonder who is responding to me though (those who are getting pissed off) as i know i am just letting the problems that i am experiencing be known and have no reason to waste my time talking **** if that isnt exactly what is happening.
Im not continuing to 'moan' (yes im upset with it as my messages highlight) as it seems Akai is in this forum and doesn't like the bad press! Well, be honest, it sounds that way to me.
Also, if this is bad batch of units, or they find the reason, wouldn't you rather it be known so people can be aware, or new users can sort it as quick as possible? I'll post the outcome, whether you and whoever else is crying about my posts like it or not. And if i experience no faults from now on i'll post that too.
The true seems so difficult in this world.

That would probably make me keep my 5K although Im probably gonna keep the 5k because Im not as limited as I am on the 3k...Im listening to a beat I just made on the 5000 and I can get it to swing like the 3K but not like the 3K...But I would buy the 5000...for sure...you cant beat it, its dirty as hell...if you know how to use it, but I think I messed mine up by formatting my hard drive, I cant find the synth no more, or any of the drum kits that came on the machine, but I tell you what though, $1100 for a MPC 5 Thousand? Thats unheard of, especially with the CD-Drive installed and Hard Drive, cant beat it

Struck a nerve, huh. No money=jealousy= lying to tell yourself what is better. But back to the point you constantly talk about stuff you dont know about....or dont have.
