some form of monome loop mode, where you can stop/start loops by pressing pads,
not like the newest additon where you have to hold a pad bank button so start a loop and cant start new loops once you let the button loose.

Maybe you set a flag for each pad that should loop, or a global loop button that acts like a shiift button on PCs

hope you know what i mean

May forget to be set up, when it is memorized and the power supply of MPC is turned on next.
In that case, since a value will be changed if a slider is moved accidentally, memory is not carried out

jandpoint say:

Now that ... I feet which is an absurdity of response.

I'd like the ability to have a confirmation screen before pressing RESET in the pad sensitivity menu. I don't have the same settings for each pad and that's the second or third time I press the Fkey accidently :(

already been requested but another vote for -

- allowing tracks to be different bar lengths (like ableton). not sure if this would be possible but this would be the amazing. can this be done in any of the mpcs?

- having a midi filter to prevent the incoming "note-off" messages sent from some keyboards (my roland d-50 and juno 60 both do this and i hear many other older rolands also). its not possible to jam with them into the mpc-1000.

Most important for me is to add an xfade mixdown option. The loop xfade setting is invaluable but it's usefulness is severely limited by the fact it uses double the polyphony. It's crying out for an edit mode that mixes it down and sets the loop mode to forwards, so that it will then only use it's usual polyphony. For most purposes the xfade is only to get a good loop point and doesn't need to be calculated in realtime.

I really hope that JJ will consider this!

If I get it right, q-link can send MIDI messages, but still can't recieve it. Possibility to control filters by external MIDI device (MIDI foot controller in my case) will be really great!

In os2xl CC71 and CC74 are already controllable with an external midi device on the active track no?

I'd like to see the pad mute settings remembered when jamming with only one track and going back and forth with the pad mute screen and the main screen.

It does that already unless you have recorded the mutes doesn't it? Unless I'm missing something. To erase recorded mutes just press erase when on the mute screen and then 'do it.'

I've just tried before writing that post but didn't manage to do what i want.

To be more precise :

-One track with one program (drums, loops, one shot..etc)
-Mute fkey set on the track or on the track mute screen
-Action happens in pad mute screen.

So when I do pad mutes and then when I want to do live drumming or live play, the pad mutes are ignored when going back to the mainscreen.

There are time consuming workarounds but I think it would improve the workflow if it was directly doable. Or Maybe I missed something?
