Convert 4 bar sequence to 8 bar sequence?

Im on a MPC 1000 with JJ OS 3.12. I have a 4 bar sequence which i did completely unquantized and i want to know how to copy it so i can convert it to 8 bars. Im guessing its somewhere in step edit? I just want to know how to copy the timing exactly from bars 1-4 to 5-8..

see "copying a sequence" in chapter 3

then change the sequence length to 8, that will add empty bars at the end

then see "copying bars (COPY)" in chapter 4

nevermind i figured it out.. just used song to track with 8 bars..
