Just because he said separate the speakers more doesn't mean put them next to the window. The picture only shows one corner of the room. There is most likely another area he can move the equipment in the room or get a different desk to achieve what was recommended! You sound exactly like the guy your sarcastic comment describes!

I'd much prefer monitors vertically placed as Fung suggests. Everyones room is different admittedly - but vertical makes much more sense in practice.
He's not working in the most ideal scenario, the least he can do is get a better representation of what his stereo field actually sounds like. Yall talking like yall work in perfect acoustic environments get off the computer and get some experience.......
