Interface and Mixer question

Hi, im looking to spend around $300 on an interface and $300 on a mixer and also the wires that hook it up to my MPC4000, any suggestions on which ones to get would be appreciated, thanks.

This is a all in one.. nice for simple mpc,turntables and computer. Check it out. It gives firewire interface, mixer with effects all in one. Then you can expand later or not.

that's basically what you're asking. if you want some suggestions, you need to be more specific... because all you're saying here is your budget...

and on that note, i'm off to get a $5 dinner at the grocery store.

You can find it for around 5-6 hundred. Just my thought.

maybe have a look at mackie onyx 8 channel $399, 12 channel $599.
mixer, plus firewire interface. i think you can only output two channels at a time via the firewire.

i always tell others to look into the mixer im using. its firewire, cheap but VERY reliable and sounds good.
