raised drum pads on mpc60II

i recently saw an mpc3000 on ebay that had the drum pads raised (the one customized by forat for Dutch) ... i was thinking of gettin this done to my mpc60II... it seems that i have to hit my pads pretty hard to trigger a sample, even when im in 16 levels mode... im not sure if its the pads or just me, maybe im just a wimp or something, lol... i was just wondering if anyone on here has any info or experience with this type of modification?
it seems to me that it would make them a bit more sensitive...

Yeah, I was trying to get them from Forat, but he said he's out, he may be getting more made, I'm just not sure.

I the only Color They come in White?? It seems they would get Dirty that way.
