Help!!! 3 questions

Hi,
How I can seperate sound from the pads (drums for example) and sounds that are controlled from midi keyboard (hardware synth or computer used as a sound module)?
So I could play base line on the keys and drums on pads.
So far I have it like that: when I play key on keyboard the synth and the drums are playing together.
And the other way when I press pad I can hear synth and the drums .
It must be something with assigning OUT 1 and OUT 2
Also what is INT A and INT B for?
Or maybe I should try with the multi?
I would like to perform live playing drums with note repeat on pads and playing another sounds from sound module on midi keyboard but it has to go through mpc so please help how to do that ?

^^^it kind of goes w/ out saying, doesn't it? he's right though, people need to chill and fall back..not everyone learns the same way and something that's easy for you may not be so much for another person. anytime someone asks a beginner or any basic type of question, people wanna jump down their throats....the whole point of a forum is to help. if you can't help, then why do you always feel the need to make a comment like 'read the manual'. that shit doesn't help, infact, you're just being an ass by saying that. ignore the question if it bothers you. don't be a tool about it.

Okay I'll try to help.

tip one. In each sequence you work on you create a new track. In the track window you assign the out 1 to each a midi out or internal part or program.

So for your drums you add your samples into a program - say program 1 and then record your kick and snare on track one.
your high hats and open hats on track two.

Then you decide to do the bass, so in track 3 - you go to the out 1 section and change it so that it says out-1 ch 1
If you have your keyboard plugged into your mpc input you can play the bassline on the keyboard.

Then for your strings - you go to track 4 and change once again the out1 to out-a (this is the midi channel output on the back of the mpc - there are a,b,c,d) then change the ch to ch 2. then you change the midi channel on your keyboard so that you are now on channel 2 - then you can play the strings line on the keyboard and the mpc will still be triggering your keyboard bass sound on channel 1.

First of all my questions may seem a little dumb to You guys because this is not my first language. Guess what - Yes it's another dumb Polak here
But I have six years experience with MPC's. I had 2000xl , 1000 and now 4000 so I am not a such a beginner.
And Yes I have read the manual for every mpc that I have own at least 3 times.
But the question I have is about live act on stage . How can I play simultaneously the drums on the pads and the bass sound from the module on the keys through the mpc. I know how to make those tracks one after the another but how to play them at once?
And I agree we should all just chill out.
Every time I am dealing with some problems with my 4k I am horrified to ask some questions here because of respond like those above.

I'm typing from my phone so excuse any typos. The answer to this does indeed come with understanding INT A and B and also the midi routing page I believe. I'm awat from my mpc so can't use exact references but in the midi routing page u can disconnect the pads from the sequencer and direct the straight to a midi channel of the sampler. Int A and B are basicaly the 32 midi channels of the multi.
You basically need to set it up so that the drum pads ONLY play the internal midi channel that your drum program is on. This would then free up the other out (out2) to use to play your module.
Give this a try and if you are still struggling let me know and ill actually try it out on my mpc.
Btw don't worry about your question. Your english is far better than my polish and I'm sure much better than most other clowns on here who just slag people off. Its a reasonable question to ask and its a forum for asking questions (even if it is one of the worst/most unhelpful around).

Basically think of the sounds as programs on a 4k. Keygroup program for baseline, piano, horns or drum programs for drums. Each program should be assign to a midi channel on the track. The midi channel is a part on the 4k. So for example track 1 is for your piano then you should see Out 1: Part: 1-Program 1 aka rename Piano aka keygroup program. Next go to track 2 you will see the same OUT 1 (remember this means is plays the internal programs) Part Part: 2-Program 2 aka drums aka drum program and play the pads for the drums.

Now on the 4k Out 1: Part means you are playing the internal programs of the mpc 4k just like on a 2xl. But unlike the 2xl the 4k can play as many as 32 programs at one time or more.

If you want to control an external sound module you have to change it to Out 1: Out-A Ch: 1 this means that the midi on the sequencer track is being sent to the midi port out A on your 4k to your Triton, Yamaha, or whatever midi input. You have to read up the first 10 pages of the users manual for each midi output port A-D. Your midi keyboard will record the notes on the track and the notes will be sent out to the external equipment to whatever midi out you select on the track OUT A, OUT B and etc.


Lastly INT-A means the 4k plays the internal programs but you can play up to 16 programs at one time from the one track on the sequence using one midi channel. This is useful for layering piano, synth, pads, and whatnot as one super synth.

Basically go to track 3 change part using your jog wheel and set it to INT-A Ch:-3, next go to multi page and press midi mode f3. Now you will see all your programs within the 4k you have loaded maybe piano, strings, pads, and violin program. Look across the top you will see part, program, type, mid chan, tune and etc. At midi chan column set all the channels to 3A which means midi channel one A. Press main page and play your keyboard or pads and all the programs will play together.

There is more to this but that is how is functions for the most part. Midi basics is needed.

Think of the 4k as separate parts a sampler, a sequencer, and a controller all in one.
