This is my first post, so hi everyone.

I bought mpc1000 allegedly with jjos2xl and 128Mb ram on it on american Ebay. I'm in Europe, but I have someone in the US that will handle the package for me, but he's not a technician of any sort nor a musician.

What's the easiest and most certain way to verify whether the device has got an unlocked version of JJOS2XL and 128mb ram?
I'll truly appreciate help.

I know it is possible to use demo version of jjos. Does showing up of the os version guarantee it's a full, payed version?

hmm. good question. i don't think so.

but if you have him press the MODE key and then PAD 3 it will bring up the SAVE screen. if the JJ OS has not been paid for then it should ask for a password at that point (or maybe only when you actually try to save a file. i don't remember exactly).
