yeah they had floppy emulators running on amigas for some time now... I am curious to know if they could be set up with a 60, and also I am curious how reliable they are... how do they handle fragmentation and things like that.

I emailed dude, told him to send me a few at a discount and I would exchange testing on drum machines and samplers.

Thats the 16+

but, I just rebuilt one of my broken EPS16+'s last night, got her up and banging again (Ensoniq was terrible at soldering/checking their stuff before it went out the door).

I am letting my buddy have it for now, and when he gets a job, which should be in a few weeks or less, he is ordering this model and installing it, so I should have pics of one in a few weeks.

dude has not hit me back yet on prices, but I am definitely going to do one on one of my 60's, and maybe both of my ASR's.

I just came up on another 60II with SCSI and 3.1 on the low, and I came up on an asr 10 rack as well (always dreamed of having my keyboard to work on, save to card, and bring the card to the racked ASR that was patchbayed up to the board, so I can work not sitting in the studio all the time... or sit by my wall of records and just sample and chop, then go sequence everything on the rack midi'd to an MPC.

lets keep this one rolling... if its 100 or less, im balls deep already for at least 3.

well there has been a few variations of this... primarily the ones that caught my eye were the commodore amiga compatible ones... you can guess why.

There have been commodore 1531? floppy drive emulators (ie c64tpc) around for a while, always wondered if they work on the sp-12 turbo.

i've also seen some floppy drive emulators that just have a USB jack in the front for plugging a USB stick into it... i always wondered what other gear they would work with since they do have the jumpers for configuring for just about anything...
