start and end chopping

I just have a simple question. I have the regular OS for the MPC 1000. When I chop my samples and try to adjust the start and end points for each region, why does it take so long?? I zoom all the way in on liner and it takes FOREVER just spinning my wheel to adjust my points. Is it because I am not using the JJOS? Also, will the JJOS fix this issue? If I am doing something wrong, please let me know. Please respond, I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

Use the q link sliders.

or zoom out and get close to where you want it, then zoom in and fine tune.

I don't have the akai os on my MPC anymore. Your issue was the main reason I switched to the JJOS. But I did find a fix before I switched. Make sure the numbers are highlighted one of those buttons make it switch from tenths/hundreds/ones and you cycle through the wav faster.

FREE JJOS by default flies through that with the data wheel.
