Fx Edit -> Drum assignment

i never get it this..

if i got to Mixer -> Fx Edit, in the top right corner there is the drum number i can choose. next to it is the name i've given to the drum. let's say i've used 2 drums to create my song and now i want to apply effects, do i have 2 effect sets (one for each drum) or can I only use 1 effect set for both of the drums?

are there 4 drums and 4 fx drums? how do they relate to each other?

The drum number relates to what output you want to use could b 1 - 8 in using mono samples if u have 8 outs, no test out and try the fx function with the numbers and see what that does, hopefully u have the fx board or u are wasting your own time

sure i got the fx board, but not the 8 outs.. i tried and got it working (using only 1 fx drum for both of my drums, i.e. only 1 fx setup). but i'd like to understand it properly and the manual and forums really don't cover this topic

You got 4 FX engines. 2 of them are just reverb engines (R1 and R2), the other 2 are multi FX engines and you can choose different effects to be ON or OFF in this engine (M1 and M2).

You can route every pad to ONE of these FX engines.

i.e.
PAD1 to M1,
PAD2 to R2,
PAD3 to M1,
PAD4 to R1,
PAD5 to R2
.
.
.
The DRUM Button in the FX Menu is an MPX2000xl option were you can choose the program you want the fx to be processed with (RTFM. There are 4 programs that you can use at the same time. And for these 4 programs are the DRUM1,DRUM2,DRUM3,DRUM4 Buttons) ASAIK cause the 2000 classic doesn't have this function
If you dont use the 4Programs at a time function you can simply choose DRUM1 and be happy with

thx man, but that's not really it.. i'm totaly familiar with drums, programs, fx send etc and i always use multiple drums for my songs.

what i don't get is - can i have the following (example)

drum1 -> R1 -> initial delay 50ms
drum2 -> R1 -> initial delay 60ms

or can I only have one R1 setting both drums?
