I'm definitely going back to a MPC but not discarding Maschine . I sold my 2500 for Maschine and I don't regret doing it but I do think the workflow of an MPC is a lot more straight forward so I'm about to get another 2K and chop & filter in Maschine / use it as an idea pad and then resample into the MPC and sequence in there .

You can't fck w/ the straight forward-ness of a MPC .

Man, that sequencer must really blow if it's more straight forward to go through all that.

That process would kill my flow.

Yea, that sounds awkward! If I spent 400+ on some software/hardware that can do it all, it would be doing everything its supposed to do! You can edit/chop/process with audacity for free!
Addi307, for a real answer I would try the Mashine personally to see what you like or don't like. Don't take anyone's opinion! Some people love it, some hate it, and even if 90% of the people on here hate a device, it doesn't mean you will hate it too. I tend to gravitate to wards anything that most people don't like because (a) most people don't like to learn how to properly use anything. (b) if everyone isn't using something, it will make my music more unique, and (c) anything that people don't like is usually cheap...and I'm cheap! haha!
Unless the reason of dislike is software related (bugs) keep an open mind about it. If it works, but the people can't use it, the people are the problem! You can make it work! :)
ps..I'm not a maschine owner.

i think maschine is very simple but some peeps out of habbit are attached to the mpc so even if u show them an easier way they will default to what they are used to.

but maschine is faster and obviously when integrating with the pc u cant beat it
