Word. Its the difference between culture preservation and development and I ain't ready to put hip hop in a museum just yet.
That said, if I'm out and about and hear a drum loop or sample on a jukebox, I'll find out the name and track name and then download it from limewire (the kazaa of the mac world) when I get home. Sure you won't find any unheard of samples that way, but if you flip em well, nobody knows anyway. Just another way to get your sound.

I'll look into it. I think I tried it a year or two ago (the one with the wierd yellow sign) and it didn't have a large community yet or something wasn't working. Good to hear its doing well. 'Cause Limewire isn't that hot.

I thought that crate diggin wasn't suposed to be taken too literally i thought that it was just anything that had to do with sampling off of prerecorded music. ahhhhh purists another word for dogma. Innovate or stagnate, elevate to that next state.

It's all love with my girl, she don't really mind that much. We're both happy with ourselves and that's all that matters. That said I DO need to lose a couple of kilos tho.. Just too damn hard to lay off the chocolate!
