hello. hope someone can help. suddenly all 16 pads have stopped working. even when i press mode and hit a pad, it doesn't go into the corresponding screen.

have i accidently turned something off. is it likely that all pads have suddenly stopped working for no reason?!

i haven't moved the unit or dropped, banged it.

please help!

It seems your sensors died !!
Unfortunately this often happens after 1 year using your MPC2500 (Akai just calculated the lifetime according to their guarantee !!!!!!).

It is quite simple to find (even in Europe) and to repair (no soldering)

I hope you get you're pad problem sorted out, that really sucks man. As earlier stated, it might be the pad sensors. You can pick them up at MPCstuff.com pretty straight forward install. Make sure you rule out all other things it can before you drop a Ben on the sensors though.

It seems first produced 2k5 got the Interlink sensors (mine have) -> No probs

They have larger connectors than the Sensitronics. And the sensitronics seem fragile, a lot of users complain about
