Akai-DPS-16..trouble on final mix

Hi, my name is Bobby and I have a DPS-16 .....the problem I am having is the final mix down.......If I record on tracks 1-2-3-4 and ping it to 15 & 16- I burn it to a CD on my external SCSI CD-recorder.....but when I take the cd to my car, the recording is all muddy...totally opposite of my final playback on 15-16.......can you help me run through the the checklist......I had this mastered but haven't used it in awhile.....Okay, I have tracks 1 through 4 used for recording three acoustic guitars and vocal.....I set the faders for a good mix and now want to send it to 15 & 16 then to a CD......I could use the next steps to continue, all the way to selecting CDR....I really would appreciate it.....my duo partner has to go in for surgery on Oct 14th and I really want to have her originals on a CD for her.......thank you!! Let me know what buses I need to have on or off!!!

PS......(I have an external CD-burner (Glyph) hooked to SCSI.....four years ago I recorded 14 track songs and had no problem, but like I mentioned, I'm a little rusty

ok I was once the proud owner of the DPS-16 (loved the virtual tracks by the way) ok my question is if you are only using 4 tracks why are you even bothering with bouncing in the first place??? no offense. ok if you must feel the need to bounce tho (I'm here to here help) try lowering your trim on trx 15 and 16 and it should go through cleaner.

Okay...thanks for the help offer......If I record on 1-2-3-4 tracks, how can I dump those tracks to a CD without dumping--bounce to 15-16???
