broken note variation slider???

my slider is broken , and i dont mean the slider came off or the metal piece is out, its that plus the inside of the slider is ufcked up.....someone please help?

i am calling service places tomm, let me know if anyone has spare parts or experience fixing this....thanks

I have the same problem with my NVS. I tried self-servicing it once but couldn't find what the problem was so I contacted an akai service center and they said it'll cost $85 to repair.
