Does someone can send me a copy of Rohan's Vailixi installations instructions ?

I just received it and would like to discover it this afternoon. Can't wait! :D

Thanks

Feature request:

In Edit Sound Mode make it possible to increase the Soft st and end seconds column from the decimal column. For example, if the decimal column reaches 01.999.00, make it possible to get to 02.000.00 with just one more click of the Data Entry instead of having to switch the cursor back and forth.

Also i think it would save some time if you combined the Soft st and end with the Zone st and end. Thanks and 3.50 if a must have.

COSIGN.

The only reason I'm not jumping on it.

I agree it would be handy to edit zone to new sound and input monitor while playing.

Hi.
Some quick questions

1) If I've bought Vailixi on chip, would I be able to upgrade it via floppy ? If Rohan brings out a new version of the OS does this mean I have to buy the whole thing again ?

2) Would it be possible to have a running clock on the sample edit screen ( this could help especially with larger samples).

3) Is it possible to have some sort of rough auto-chop feature. i.e. User takes a sample, and selects an option where Vailixi divides it up into 16 equal slices - saves these slices as zones, and automatically assigns them to 1-16 on Bank D (somewhere where the user is less likely to already have samples). Now these 'chops' may not be instantly usable but then the user could tweak the start and end points as they wanted.

Feature request, well kind of....

The OS is cool and all that but, why should someone who paid good money to own something (albeit pre-owned) like a MPC3000/ LE be lumbered with someone elses name on the start-up screen?

Having your name/ a name permanently etched into the OS is so cheesy, its not cool at all.

Having to buy a complete new chip from mansell-labs to remedy this is not cool either.

How would you like it if you saw other folks names on your hardware at bootup? WTF!!

Surely Rohan could keep licensing details in a database somewhere.

Who really cares about a name on a boot menu when you get an awesome instrument to make music ? It is beyond me.
That ego stuf makes me smile.

Actually, it's pretty damn cool!

Well it might be almost cool if it was my name, but it isnt.

Personally I'd rather have no name, nothing to do with ego at all.

Looks like a stolen piece, permanently linked to some other person.

How would you like it if your girl had her ex's name tattoo'd all over her front? Or if some dude's name appeared on-screen every time you turn the TV on? Can you not understand my point?

PERSONALISATION that adds nothing to the OS.

Drop the name from future releases, PLEASE or at least make it optional.

Give the people that pay you a CHOICE.
