i take it my keyboard needs a line out?

to use my keyboard with preset sounds in my mpc simultaneously with my drum beats, does it need to be a keyboard with a line out, and if so is it mono then? this is kicking my ass..is it easier to sync instruments through software like reason?

You probably should buy the mpc 1000 book listed on this website..lots of hands on shit that manual does not provide. Helped me a ton and i havent even gone through half of it. Your keyboard should hook into mpc no problem. You probably need adapters that hook onto end of cables that you plug into back of stereo when you play your keepboard normally. Any keyboard should work unless its a casio from 1985. Once again though...for your own sanity buy the tutorial book oon this website. Best 30 or so dollars you will ever spend.
