Hi everyone,
Is there any way, perhaps, to have more than 64 sounds in a program? The mpc can have 256 in memory....

I know its a long shot, but there is some skilled heads on this fourm.

Thanks

i use my mpc to do live hard-techno gigs. very heaavy on the percussion. i go thru sounds very quickly. so i try and make the most useful programs i can.

i just feell in love with the mc-303 drum kit and its 130+ sounds. i would love it to be a single mpc program.

I don't see the problem really, just use all 4 programs. I feel this is one for the newbie forum really.

well in that case you can have 256 sounds at once, spread over four banks (A,B,C,D) in four programs.
Just move the cursor over the program number and turn the jog wheel to change it. Takes no more than two seconds.

Is 256 really the limit in memory???

What if I have say 10 x Programs loaded in memory and I use Program Changes to change between them can I have more than 256 then?

I have a Tabla that uses 40 samples and other perc instruments take alot of room aswell and Im running out of room with all 4 programs for a potential live set!!!
