yo wassup with the pads on the 4000!

On the 2000xl the pad settings are mono, off, and poly.

i can do poly in the mpc4000 i can do off but no mono.

basically i want to hit a pad and it play the whole sound and if I hit the pad in the middle of the sound playing it starts the sound over again without over lapping. AM I MAKING ANY SENCE!

Go to program window and press F2 - then F3 and press the pad you want to edit. Move the cursor to "poly" and set it to 1 instead of 64.
If you press F6 you can go to "edit" and select "all" instead of "one" if you want set the same setting for all the samples at once.
