MPC 2500 - JJ = Beat Thang

hahah yeah they gotta hype it up like that. But it's a good sign that the 2500 is still in production. i wasn't too sure last time i checked the gossip. but yeah, they're biting off the beat thang's hype.

i absolutely dont want to throw shit on jj, think he really deserves the nickname he got (jenius) but i strongly hope the 2.0 update of jjos2xl will get rid of some stability issues, or , at least, dont increase em.
last updates are starting to be too heavy on the cpu. last week i experienced 3 crashes and some freezing\lagging\tempo fluctuations in my liveset, especially when getting closer to max polyphony with some INST program and chords...anyway last nite i played it live for 1 hour and a half with no freezes (pheeew).
i think the LFO control is one of the suspects of great cpu drain, tho i love the feature and use it a lot. but...i dont know if it is worth.

other thing i'd like to see fixed is the strange behaviour of next sequence when in immediately play mode.
if i jump from one seq to another via pads in next seq screen it kinda loose timing and mess things up.
if i change via data wheel in track mute screen or in main no problems...ain't it strange? that suggests me the problem is fixable.

Are you using Audio Input Thru when this behavior occurs? Because I've had serious problems running the machine hard while using that feature...

Yep it has always been like that. MPC1000 users get the new os first and do the debugging. Then you get a 2500 version :)

Thats cuase 1000 users are complainers. if somethings wrong, they complain the most. if 2500 users got the os first, it be buggy as ****!

you hit the nail right on the head!
