Possible technics 1200 M3D problem, maybe not

Hey whats up everyone? I just bought a technics 1200 m3d tt and when I put the needle on the record then tap on the turntable or the table its on it makes a hollow bump sound. I have the gain on my xone 32 mixer at 5 out of 10. It is more obvious as I turn up the gain on my xone mixer. I have a ortofon scratch needle. perhaps I should turn down the gain on my dj mixer and turn up the gain on my 24 channel mixer? Also I was trying to research this problem and a bunch of stuff came up about sound isolation feet for the 1200. Do u think this would solve my problem? or do u have any other ideas of what the problem could be? thank you all for your time and wisdom.

Maybe rotate the feet of the deck until it's more decoupled from the vibrations from the table? You may also need to adjust your tonearm height/weight if it's wobbling at the slightest bump and touching the record easily when up or seated on the record. Or maybe I don't understand what you're saying.

But in general a thud against a table that's hard enough will result in an audible bump or skip if the needle jumps, especially if the volume is up.

without hearing the noise I can't say if there's a problem, but I don't think so.

Help if I tap on my mic stand it makes this kind of thuddy tapping sound..let's look at it logically..how does a phono cart work cos you will find it's very similar to a microphone give take some..no there is nothing wrong with your deck...

Once the needle is on the record, it will act like a microphone and pick up unwanted noise.
Unfortunate but inevitable.

Yeah? Not enough damping.
I suggest you cover the cymbals in bubble wrap and fill the drum shells full of old pillows and blankets.
Then try knocking it over and note the difference.
