Yeah the loop lock of start and end point is great. The mpc 2000 has that, not sure if the xl does.

Anyone loading hours of mp3s into their mpc is NOT performing live. Bring a **** iPod and pretend it it coming from your mpc.

Filter keytracking in INST programs - Basically make the filter cutoff follow the keyboard so that higher notes make the filter brighter, and vise versa.
