It was always suppose to be a comparison thread between Maschine and the MPC.

it was supposed to be a comparison between the 4000 and maschine... some people simply thought this thread should be adapted to every model of mpc vs maschine when that is retarded. the 60 and the 2500 with jjos are not the same genre of sampler at all what so ever so making a generalized comparison based on the MPC name is dumb... you might as well include the ricoh mpc 4000 in with the mpc side as well.

as for autochop, it has not been anything essential in samplers, it has been a popular easy to include feature that was included with samplers.... just because it's there doesn't make it essential. essential features are essential to using the machine... autochop is not... it's one thing to mention that many products have a feature... but dont blow things out of proportion.

Yes, it was suppose to be about the MPC 4000 and Maschine. And if you read the first couple of pages, it was. However, the mods choose to lock all other threads regarding Maschine with other MPCs so we are stuck with this one. But the same argument one could make with Maschine vs MPC 4000 is nearly the same as Maschine vs the MPC 5000 with the exception that the MPC 5000 does more than the MPC 4000. Also, the MPC 2500/1000 are better all around samplers and sequencers than Maschine IMHO.

Blowing things out of proportion? That is those that picked "auto chop" (a function that every knows Maschine/MPCs both have) and skip all the numerous Maschine short-comings when it comes to sampling and sample editing.

Regardless....you are way too late. We already discussed this in depth. Auto-chop was never a real argument Just a spoke screen for some that didn't have an argument for anything else. One more time though... Maschine, MPC 1000/2000XL/2500/4000/5000...ALL have auto-chop. You would know this if you actually owned/used these drum machines.

yeah why not ask yourself why that happened.... because it's easier to leave this pissfest unlocked so you idiots dont keep making new pissfests in every thread. we had several comparison threads around here related to the maschine and they weren't immediately shut down.

as for autochop, if it wasn't really an argument, then why does every post you make contain some reference to it? we dont need to use an mpc made in the last 8 years to know the feature exists... the only relevant thing I have heard in regards to autochop was where some people mentioned which system's autochop was the best.

anyways my point is, you cant grab one thing jjos does best, one thing the 4k does best, one thing the 5k does best, and make that your single argument against the maschine. nobody is making a single song using each of those features since they would in that case span across several machines. get my point? you gotta keep it one against one. mixing up features from every mpc model and pinning that against a piece of software is ridiculous and unrealistic.

I wouldn't go calling or implying people idiots because they have a passion for talking about their new toys in these forums. You have wrote numerous threads/posts that others can tag as the same. Since I personally own and use an MPC and Maschine...as well as Blue Haze (at least he claims so)....it is not a pissin contest as far as I am concerned.

If you actually read anything in this thread, you would know I am not talking about auto-chop....I am talking about something much more. A feature that Maschine nor the MPC 4000 has. Its not auto-chop. No need to rehash it again. Several MPC/ASR-10 users have left NI plenty of feedback in the Maschine Forum.

And ALL threads in this forum about Maschine has been edited/shut down/deleted....even one I created to directly compare Maschine with the MPC 2500/1000....immediately shut down. I wrote about it earlier in this thread. I searched the last 20 pages of this forum and found only the MPC 5000 vs Maschine thread with 3 posts.

We have been naming specific features of MPCs and compare them with Maschine....I can easily select any MPC released in the past 8 years (minus the 500) and it does better at sampling, sample editing, and sequencing when compared to Maschine.

yeah yeah... if you cant see why the other threads got shut down.... you will never figure it out.

If you have something you want to share regarding Maschine and an MPC (any model), please do so. Any other talk that has nothing to do with the topic at hand (Maschine versus MPC) can be done in numerous other threads....

That looks cool but this isn't the thread for it. Don't be an idiot post it in the right thread. It is already in the environment section and you can't compare something that isn't even on the market!

Cmon how lame can you get!!!

Grow up....its not that serious. 75% of what you wrote here has nothing to do with MPC or Maschine.
