Black LCD upgrade

anyone using the black lcd screen from mpcstuff?

Yeah, I would like to see it in action too. Looks sick as hell. If I didn't install the white screen first, I may have gone for this one.

still wondering if this is just an inverted white LCD screen... kinda looks like it.

for 2 Years i installed a black Screen on my 2500.
The Screen is not black, its dark Blue. It looks bad.

So i installed my old blue Screen again. Its the Best for the 2500

That's not good news. I am very interested in this because I am now thinking about picking up a black LCD screen from MPCstuff.com

Does yours look like the one in this picture because this one looks pretty black to me, but you can never really tell from a picture. I definitely do not want dark blue though.

did you mess with brightness settings on white and black lcd ?

I bought the black LCD from MPCStuff and I have to say I really like it, so much so I'm waiting for them to get more to switch out my 1000's screen. It has a slight purplish hue to it but it wouldn't call it blue. Maybe these LCD's are sourced from a different vendor. The off angle viewing is excellent and I have no problems with eye strain. It looks very similar to the latest Juno screens if that gives you an idea.

It boots up white and switches to black on the JJOS version screen, so I'd guess it is a white LCD inverted.

lol.. its the contrast screen.. damn it!! lol.. you had me like "yo, I can dim the light?" but yea, its the contrast. mine is hold stop and data wheel. must be a jjos thing..lol..


yo, im thinking about getting the black screen. i just got the blue one, and i like it, but yea, that black one looks a lil dimmer. i like that..

if it has a white lit background border around the black pixels at all times, than it's definitely an inverted white screen... is that the case as well?
