MPC60 SAMPLING

HI THERE IM HOPING SOMEONE CAN HELP,

I JUST GOT MY SELF A MPC FROM THE STATES AND NOW TRYING TO SAMPLE. BUT AFTER I SAMPLE IT WONT PLAY THE SAMPLE WHEN I PUSH SOFT KEY 1 !!! IT WILL LET ME KEEP OR RENAME OR EVEN DISCARD BUT STILL WONT LET ME PLAY THE SOUND PLEASE CAN ANY ONE HELP !!!!

DID YOU CHECK YOUR LEVELS? OR PERHAPS IT ISNT PLUGGED IN, OR MAYBE SOFT KEY ONE IS BROKEN
YOU MAY WANT TO FIX YOUR CAPS LOCK KEY WHILE YOUR AT IT

Are you assigning the sound to a pad before trying to play it?

when i record a record and then press soft key one to play the sound i just recorded it freeze !

I got the manual all ready thanks man!

You know when you record sample in to it then press soft key one i sould play right and not frezze ?

you dont need to do any thing till u want to put on pads right ? i never had anything happen with my 2000 and 2000xl like this !

Yeah, it should play when you hit soft key 1 - it recorded ok and soft key 1 says <play>? the only thing I can think of is your threshold is too high or source isn't coming in right and sampling never actually starts. Otherwise it sounds like your mpc is busted if it's freezing.
