Analog Modeling Samplers

I'm looking for a hopefully inexpensive sampler... Possibly with some pre-set synth bass sounds... I'd like something to get a real deep bass groove to my hip-hop tracks...

Something along the lines of Korg ms2000, but also with some sampling capabilites...

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated...

why not get a rack sampler. you will be able to make some decent bass multisamples. fuk presets..

the korg ms2000 is a analog synth. it has some nice bass tones. A nice inexpensive sampler would be the s2000 or the s3000xl. I also just got an emu esi-2000. u can buy bass mulitisample cds for em, or make ur own. the ms2000 is cool though. alot of synthy techno noises, but u can tweak the presets to make it grimy. I would prob go with the sampler htough. the esi is mad cheap on www.emu.com for clearence and has mad filters and some other cool ish that the mpc's sampler aint got.

The ms2000 is an analog modeling synth. It uses sampled waveforms, it does not generate it's own waveforms.

The emu esynth, with some preset roms should be available on ebay. This is a top line emu sampler with two roms availble. These roms are not the same as the proteus roms.

That is what I was sayin... I would mainly like a sampler with some really deep analog filters to make bass tones...

Some preset tones to mess with wouldn't be bad either, but I'd really like to get that low-end that you can only get from vintage gear with analog filters...

I know things that can do this, but I was hopin to do this on a budget...

I might check the EMU site though... Good lookin people... I love these forums... oNe...

Don't underestimate the MPC's ability to rock basslines. You just need the right sample(s), and bust the 16 Levels/Note Off settings.

No sampler has analog filters, except maybe sp1200.

Just my though, as you allready got the sampler (MPC) why ain't you go to a RLD SH-32, small analog modeling board,sound's powerfull, can create your own (bass, stab...) tones, reallow-budget invest. Just an idea...

I'll look into that... I actually was already lookin into a Sherman Filterbank... People on this board have recommended it several times.... And judging by it's features it seems real nice...
