GREAT!!!!!

I'll wait a bit before updating, though, until users feedback prove this 2.0 to be stable and reliable.

11. [PROGRAM]
MUTE works to MIDI IN NOTE.
SIMULT does not work.

I don't see what this means, anyone to comment on this feature?
does it mean it is possible to control the MUTES with external controller (i.e, padkontrol...)

JJ you rock,

cheers

Great news if it fixes the timing issue.
I'll do another test to check that

In JJOS2XLv2.00, the timing is still sloppy joe for me when I flip between sequences whilst playing.

It means that, with respect to pad mutes, the MPC will act the same whether you're playing the MPC's pads or a connected MIDI controller. With respect to simult, you can't trigger them from a connected MIDI controller.

ok...

we're speaking about PAD MUTE and not about TRACK MUTE, I misunderstood... :?

I hoped it would allow to have the track mute function available to external midi control (i.e, padkontrol), while, i.e, using the MPC's active track and pad-playing, or using also the NEXT SEQ or PAD MUTE with the MPC... that would be using 2 16pad-grids and opening wide live possibilities, this and the midi control for the track mixer...

one day perhaps???? :D

so, OS XL 2.00 allows the external midi control of the pad mute screen, but not for "simulted" pads, do I get it correct?

cheers

No.

If you set up pads to mute other pads in program mode (mode button -> pad 7 -> press f5 twice) then the mutes will work from an external MIDI controller. if you set up pads to simult other pads in that same screen, then the simults will not work from an external MIDI controller.

It has nothing to do with the pad mute screen or track mute screen.

okay thanks, I'll give it a try this weekend I guess,

I'd like the "program pad mute midi control" to be available even when not on this specific screen, or even better, one day perhap's, to be able to also midi control the "track mutes", and having this midi control always operative even when switching screens (next seq, track mute, active track...) on the mpc...

anyway thanks for the input
