Beast changes in program mode

anybody here ever make a beat on the 4k that they think is hot then hit program while the beat is playing and the beat changes to something even better? i dunno if its just me but it happens alot while im searching thru samples i loaded up? normally for me the drum pattern changes to instruments i loaded up but not in the sequence ,i wish i know a way to record it but it only plays like that when im in program mode once i go back to main screen it goes back to the original beat

Oh, and btw, how is that beast that came with your 4k, is he pretty rough?

I mean if he's like a camelion and only changes in program mode, then I'd say you've got you one heck of a mean machine there.

Damn you guys are animals...I just got my 4000 and got that shit working right, the best MPC hands down and I owned alot of MPC's including the 3000 and I must say I am impressed with this model overall, it has a nice groove it reminds me of the 3000 alot, but I know yall are beasts with the 4000's I hope to become half as good as any of you...Forreals.

This guy had a similar issue, refer to the answer I gave him to see if that's the cause.
