what card reader is working for you?

ok i have tried using the addonics AEUDMACF reader with sandisk ultra II 1gb card and os level at 1.20 and the mpc 2000xl will still not recognise...

so looks like i am in the market for a different card reader - will you guys please share in this thread what readers/cards you KNOW for a fact are working in your 2000xl machines ? Please. I really need to get this done so i can start using the machine

It doesn’t recognize the drive or the card? With mine, if you startup without the card the screen reads something like “NO FLOPPY DRIVE!”. Did you try starting it with the card in and formatting the card itself? I know it's a dumb question, but it took me a while to realize I had to format it...

And btw I'm using the same exact card in my MCD reader I bought from mpcstuff with no problems :thumbup:

Also, before my install, I read a lot of threads of people having problems with installing their card readers. Not sure if different serial numbers are better then others, but that may be something to look into.
