Can the 4000 read .ALL files from a 2kxl?I was reading some past posts and a few people said they werent compatible.What about the .MID files?

don't know about the .all file. I don't have a 2000, but the MID file is a MIDI file so that should be able to be read ANYWHERE. I can drop .mid files between the computer and the MPC.

and sound files but the lay out is not the same

yea it reads 2000xl all files
