please help -mpc 500

i got my mpc 500 today. plug it in to usb, hen i plug it into the computer, nothing happens.. help.

If you would've done your research and read the manual, you would know that the MPC500's USB connection is just for storage of importing and exporting wav files. Not for actual recording or playing sequences to and from your computer.

Importing and exporting wav files is the same as loading music to your iPod or mp3 player. Select the external device and then drag and drop. Its that simple

i'm curious to know what the OP was expecting to happen...
