So, I've noticed that when using individual outs (1+2) the volume from my 3K is much louder than the stereo mains. Could it be that my MPC was modified (second hand)?
In order to match the level of a sample which is at full volume in the stereo mixer, I only need about 45% of the fader length in the individual outs mixer, afterwards it starts to distort.
Perhaps the reason is that mono samples play through two mono channels (stereo), as opposed to 1 mono output with individual outs, hence the volume difference? Seems to me that if anything, it should have been the other way around.
