I have a Motif XS6 and Im wondering when Im setting up Midi Tracks on the MPC 4000, What corresponds to Out 1 and Out 2? Are those the Midi Outputs? I have my Digi 003 on Midi In 1 for Syncing to Pro Tools and my Motif is on Midi In 2 to be used I guess as a sound module, do I set up out 1 as the Midi Track for the Motif? Say its on Midi Out B do I set up Out 1 to be Track 1B for the Motif?
If someone could help me out the assistance would be greatly appreciated, Im new to the 4000 Forum, I just bought a MPC 4000 today off of Craigslist for $1000, Ive owned the MPC 2500, 3000, and 5000...Im getting adjusted to how to move around in the MPC but Im stuck because my Motif is playing the drums sounds that are on the pads...
By the way, this is the best MPC period hands down, I love the 3000 dont get it twisted but as far as being what to me a MPC should be, this is it.
