just read the **** manual!!

i don´t know the mpk, but i know the mpd26...let me tell ya something:

if the mpd is hooked up to a computer via usb, it acts as a midi interface. it won´t output the same data on the midi port as it does on the usb port.
you have to set your routing inside cubase.

if you want to send MIDI signal from the MPK's MIDI ports, you need to have the MPK being powered by the AC adapter and not just the USB cable...

true, but afaik you can not use the ac adaptor and the usb-connection simultaneously. if you power the mpk via the ac adaptor, you have to use the midi out ports. the usb-connection is not available then!

and dude, your post is shit, read again (the motherfacking manual)

You could always just render the midi data recorded in Cubase as audio and import it into your MPC and sequence it there. It beats being up all might yelling DAMN YOU MIDIIIII!!! at the top of your lungs...
