Berwick st, `soho - nearest tube: tottenham court road or Oxford Street.
This is where all the records in central are/used to be -
if revival is still there - hit it up.
sounds of the universe also worth a look, but the staff can be weird and the stock rarely moves. Lots of represses upstairs, and priced originals in the basment.
Sister ray is all represses and overpriced originals - loads of CDs
Phonica is a more like a house music dj showroom with a few boxes of tut - avoid.
immediately north of oxford circus (tottenham court road end) there is a small road with 'west end dj' and 2 pretty good shops - JBs and ... um... something else.
also, if youre at sounds of the universe end of soho, and go south through the fruit market - after you cross teh road 'cheapo cheapos' will be on your right - prices are cheap, worth a look.
music and video exchange - nearest tube: Notting Hill gate
About 4 shops al part of the same chain all in a row on the same side of the road - *Must go there*
Islington (essex road i think...) nearest tube: angel islington
2 shops here, haggle and flashback, both on the same side of the road
