Hi guys,

I wan't to post a bug, because it is very annoying...
First of all I would like to thank JJ for new multitim feature, which is savior for me!
I'm using Cubase to edit midi -> export midi -> import into MPC 2500 (OS XL 2.09) -> play. Everything was fine with my good old 1.37 but multitim... I had to install an update.

Here is the thing:
There is an attached project, which consist of few samples, one track, with one hit on each 1/4 bar for 2 bars. Every time loop is played - last hit is delayed, but no effects are sent to this pad. Moreover if we try to stop in the moment of that hit - it will be delaying even more!

Test project: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7frp7qys6f4dcy8/TEST.zip

Nothing unusual is set on my MPC - multitim is on, master level is -6,everything else is default, sounds are not in loop, nothing connected by midi. In a meanwhile - everything is working on 1.37. After deletion of this not in Grid Edit and replacing with manually recorded note (using MPC only) - everything works fine.

I don't know if that posted before, but could anybody help me with that? I'm make tracks 5 minutes long and they are messed up after import in MPC, so manually adjust every "delayed" hit is not an option for me.

Thanks!

Nope...
I've installed 2.10 and booted with Erase button pushed. Bug still exists.

It seems that I will use 2 while arranging and shift back to 1.37 when performing live, cause its more stable.

Help anybody, please?

I've just loaded up your test project.
Weird bug. It's fixable though.

Go to Grid Edit.
Press play.
When the play cursor goes into the second bar hit 'Loop Edit'.
Now hit VIEW.
Boom, problem fixed.
Very strange indeed.

It's definitely a bug. Maybe something to do with importing projects from an older version? I dunno.

Have you sent the bug report to JJ yet?

Wow, thanks for fix! I cannot do this in song mode, which I'm using for live :(

This is not a project from older version - MIDI file was new, exported from Cubase, but yes, this is reproduced on old project to.

No, I haven't... Only posting here and in "bugs" thread. Can you give me the link for instructions about submitting bug to JJ?

Thanks!

?
All you have to do is go to every place where there is a problem and view it in loop edit, then it'll be fixed forever after you've re-saved your project.

I've never imported a midi file into the mpc. Maybe that's one of the issues right there.

Linky to report bug here -> http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/mpc2500/bug/report.htm

Yeah, this workaround actually works, but imagine that for reimported 180 bar/17 track midi file to view it in a loop at least 20-30 times per track... :( but thanks anyway!
