Diggin spots in Japan

What's up?

My girlfriend's Japanese and I'm gonna visit Japan in April to try and get the approval of her parents.
I should have some free time between the suckin up and the lie detector test, so I wanted to do some d.i.t.c. I've heard that Japan is supposed to be the mecca of diggin so I'm excited as hell. My gf's from Yokohoma so I'm gonna go there and to Tokyo. Can you guys recommend some dope record stores in those cities?
I wanna try and take the opportunity to buy a lot of Japanese stuff, especially Soundtracks (
heard they're supposed to be sick ) and I also wanna buy Brazilian stuff since I'm really into that but I'm open to anything, Jazz, Funk, Soul, whatever.

The first place you want to go to is the Shibuya district. It's been two years since I was digging there, so I can't remember the names. I think I went to Recofan, but I'm not sure. Generally I just bought Japanese stuff judging from the cover and I didn't have a chance to listen in Japan, but when I got back home it was like christmas; a lot of very good stuff in there.

Japan to me is mecca for many things... I didnt know about this though... good stuff. Ill check out that store while im down south.

I live in Yokohama. i sometimes go to recofun in SHIBUYA. Its big store and they have lots of 1dollar stuff but
lots of beatmakers dig that place. Also Shibuya is good place for diggin if you have cash.
If you are lookin for Japanese OST i recomend JINBOUCHO that is 20min from Shibuya station.
There are lots of old record shops around Jinboucho and Disk union. If you want know more information lets me know.

There are couple shops around Yokohama. I usually check Recofun(1 dollar stuff) and Disk union for hiphop stuff.
Disk union is very similar to Music and Video Exchange in UK. They have price list and they know what we want(Drum breaks etc) Both shops are very close from YOKOHAMA station. Also there is another Disk union very close from Yokohama and
place called KANNAI they have good Japanese Jazz , Raregroove,Jazz ,records.

Best place for Diggin →　SHIBUYA SHINJUKU

Lookin for JAPANESE Vinyl →JINBOUCHO

1 Dollar stuff →　Recofun Disk union
