stereo outs messed up?!?! help please :(

what up fellow mpc users, im having a little bit of an issue. i just picked up this 2500 a few months ago and havent done too much on it yet until now, and i've realized that one of the stereo outs is VERY SILENT, i believe its the right stereo out. now when i do assignable outs, everything is fine and sound comes properly out of both, but when i use the stereo outs, it's only clear on the left side and very silent on the right..please help me out guys i got some real hip hop to make!

p.s, i've googled it many times and every thread i seem to find just has a dead end and no real solution, please post if u got the same issue and maybe we can create an official answer to it

u got any idea what my problem is?! its really killing me

i just picked up a 2.5k with the EXACT same issue. i took it to a local repair shop and they repaired a circuit or something. cost me $110.

word! thanks for the reply man i was hoping it was only a circuit issue, i read up somewhere that we have to replace the proliferator or some kinda shit in the back. good to know it wasnt too expensive of a fix, was it a music shop or a general electronics repair? i got a place called long n mcquades around here but i have a feeling they'll send it to Akai and charge me up the ass

it was a pro audio shop here called good guys. they fixed my ish, but they suck actually. i dropped my joint off in nov, no response from them until i called them last month. they didnt touch it until the week i called and finished it and soldering an output transformer in a mic pre in less than a week. i dont know if an electronic shop would be able to do it. maybe if they had a schematic.

DjSkruff, let me know if your repair tech needs a schematic, me or someone else will hook up the service manual.

I bought a used one from the guitar center and had the same issue.I just replaced the cpu assembly and it works like brand new. MPCstuff.com got the part to me im about a week..fresh brand new from AKAI Professional.

I sent it to Forat Electronics in LA initially, but the out went out again about a day later...so I just ordered the CPU assembly and replaced the whole thing.Took about 30 minutes to an hour.

really?! good to know man i gave up on it, just turned the gains up on my audio interface till they balanced. thanks homie!

Same problem over here in the netherlands.
I bought the 2500 two months ago and noticed it last week when i used mono drums.
left side out goes twice as loud as the right out.

Damn!!!!!
