Can I use samples of a higher bit rate as .wav file chops in the 4000? Like Can I have 24 Bit Samples or 96Hz samples if they give me that option to export from Recycle?

think it depends on the project. keep it 16bit if you plan on exchanging the files to another MP. Just trial and error really, drums etc can be fat at 16bit/8bit but some string and complex sounds warrant a higher bit-rate sometimes

Oh I see, so if I chop up a sample in Recycle just keep it how it is, dont even mess with the settings huh. Yeah I was trying to take advantage of the 24 bit sampling but I guess I would have to sample directly into the 4000 to get the 24 bit sampling rate.

i think just saving a 16bit sample at 24 bit won't improve the sound quality as it was lower to begin with.
It's like saying, i saved a low rez youtube video in 720 hd and expecting it to be High Def quality.

I see...well then to get the 24bit sample rate, Im better off just sampling into the MPC.
