What program would I use on OS X to easily create programs for the MPC from the .akp file?

i don't think you can import the .apk file with this. i tried to batch create from a folder of .WAV files but it didn't work. am i missing something?

Yes. mpc maid doesn't do either of those things. Did you read the info on their website?
The only software that i'm aware of that can convert akp to mpc1000/2500 pgm is chickensys translator (and maybe awave but I'm too lazy to check and you ain't paying...
). But I wouldn't recommend that. Just take the chopped wavs that recycle created and drop them onto the pads in mpc maid one at a time. or better yet, use mpc maid to chop the sample and skip recycle altogether.
Even better than that, get JJ OS and use the MPC to chop.
