MPC 3000 Filter Values

Can any one think of some good filter setting for the MPC 3000 Filter??

I trying to get some reverse filter sweeps to go out in slow.

So PLEASE give some good values!

Nobody Uses the Filters on their MPC 3000 ? Nobody uses has favorite
Filter Settings??

This is stupid, it depends on the sample, no such setting for all cases.

Just muck around. It's like asking what your favorite notes to use are.

Man, at least talk about HOW you use the filters on your MPC 3000.I mean,

word. theres not really much to talk about though. theyre pretty straightforward mpcs.

but i do abuse the fuc out of the filters on the 3K. and i have to agree with mac, i apply different settings on each sound. but one thing thats constant is i lower the filter to 3 on bass sounds, and i also leave velocity on for filtered sounds, you can turn a spanish guitar into a synth line and so on, hit the pads at different velocitys and the envelope will change, etc. also check how filtered sounds react to the effects, you can create swoosh panning effects and other cool sh!t. its a deep machine no doubt.

you can also trick sounds into sounding like there from the same recording..
so it brings the track together more, on the other hand you can seperate your tracks/differants sounds well too with them, the more i use them, the more and more i use them..
